Music festival in Castel del Monte

The MiBAC, together all’ Italian Association for the Promotion of the Music Festival, with support from the SIAE and in collaboration with public and private entities, this year too it promotes and sponsors the Music Day which will be held on 21 June 2019.

As in past editions, the sites of the Ministry of Culture culture play a significant role in organizing events, shows and events related to the topic.

For this important occasion, Thursday 20 June the UNESCO site of Castel del Monte proposes Arches at Castle, a musical excursion of Youth ensembles who will perform pieces from the classical-baroque repertoire. The event closes the XIXesima edition Festival delle Murge, in partnership con l’Cultural Association The Extravagance and with the guidance of the artistic director of the Festival Paola Rubini.

Followed by the Orchestra Bows Oddities (age 7/18 years) will interpret Holberg Suite by E. Grieg, for example Simple SymphonyB. Britten. Will conclude the Festival of the Music M° Alessandro Perpich who will play J. S. Bach “The Six Only”, Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin.

The groups will alternate during the day by hours 11:00 at 19:00.

During the same day the Castle will carry out special evening opening hours until 23:00, last entrance to the public at 22:15.
