Furore: a pearl set in a fjord

Furore beach in the most beautiful fjord in Italy

In the heart of the Amalfi Coast, in Salerno, there is a unique beach in the world: Furore! An oasis of peace for perfect relaxation.

It is a real pearl “welcomed” in a Campania fjord where perfumes, colors and Mediterranean atmosphere inebriate it giving life to an enchantment.

In 1997, Furore, has been named UNESCO heritage .

I'll tell you about Furore

E’ appointed on “country that is not there” because it has few houses overlooking the coasts, consequently few walls painted with murals and only houses 800 inhabitants.

Indeed, more than a country, it is only a district of scattered houses that overlook the rocks along the Fjord of Furore. Their function was simply to control the countryside.

But it is the most beautiful village in Italy: has also been included in the circuit of the “Most beautiful villages“.

The area is a sight for the eyes of visitors who remain enchanted in front of this breathtaking beauty in which lemon groves, olive groves, vineyards, majolica, crystal clear blue sea and Mediterranean scrub embellish Furore even more.

Its precious terrace vines, in addition to producing an excellent grape, they offer very fine wines for unconventional palates.
