Beach surrounded by cliffs and woods that form the Illicini Natural Park. Fascinating beach also for the presence of the Sciabella cave in which the turquoise color of the sea is reflected.   5. Bosco Pantano beach in Policoro: it's about a WWF nature reserve. This beach was chosen by sea turtles, including the species Caretta Caretta, to lay eggs;

The beach is also bordering to the south with’WWF Oasis Policoro Herakleia;
  10. Riva dei Ginepri: it is one of the most exclusive beaches in Basilicata. The peculiarity is that the umbrellas are spaced apart to be able to spend days relaxing and…not only…the relaxation corners are equipped with sofas and thatched covers to enjoy an excellent aperitif in front of the sea view. The beach is wide with fine sand surrounded by a crystal clear sea and low depths.
