Magna Via Francigena: the way to Sicily from Palermo to Agrigento

Sicily has its Camino de Santiago: recovered from “Magna Via Francigena”, that is not a simple trip, but a real discovery path, like a flower, It opens slowly to reveal his vibrant heart.

160 kilometers to the discovery of rural pearls. A path that winds through three provinces: Prizzi, Santa Cristina Gelae Castronovo di Sicilia. From the artistic and archaeological sites of the coast, We enter between the inland villages, through one of the last frontier routes. The route connects two ancient port city: Palermo e Agrigento, through a system trazzere (ancient dirt paths) combining the inland villages.

The route is divided into eight stages from 20-25 each kilometers and is an impressive path that allows, tourists and travelers, venturing to explore the inland Sicily and of its rural pearls.
