Project Network UNESCO sites: Heritage born South

New perspectives for the Project Network UNESCO sites, Party in April 2016 with initiatives and events involving five regions of southern Italy (Basilicata, Campania, Puglia, Sardinia, Sicily) containing at least a UNESCO site.

The novelties were presented yesterday at a press conference in the Council Chamber of the Metropolitan City of Bari. present, among others, Giuseppe Canfora, president of the South Provinces UNESCO Italy, representatives of some provinces and the various projects, representatives of Legambiente.

During the day was presented the new name and the new shareholding structure of the Association Provinces Unesco South Italy, which will be called Heritage of the South and will open to organizations that do not necessarily have to have on their territory a Unesco site and still intend to work in the cultural and tourism sector to promote the cultural heritage, monumental, archeological, natural, landscape and environment of Southern Italy.
